Weekly Mowing
Keep your yard healthy and green and impress your neighbors with the sharpest looking yard in the neighborhood. Weekly mowing consists of mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing off your sidewalks, driveways, and patios. Martin Mowing still needs your help watering if you want to maintain that GREEN yard. We mow and trim with care and attention to detail. Mowing season runs from April-November. No grass will be left standing, and corners will not be cut…well actually they will.

Fertilizing
Martin Mowing has a 5-step fertilizing process. In the spring when the temperature consistently stays above freezing, we will apply a pre-emergent. The pre-emergent will help to prevent those pesty weeds from sprouting. Following the first application, we will apply our first application of fertilizer 4-6 weeks later. We will apply 2 more applications every 4-6 weeks throughout the summer. The final step is the winterizer fertilizer. This will be applied in the fall to help feed your lawn nutrients throughout the cold season. We use organic fertilizer, and during the hot summer months, we switch to a fertilizer higher in iron. For best results, it is important to water your lawn regularly. Additionally, we spot spray weeds with environmentally safe chemicals and manually remove them. Individual applications are available.

Aerating
Aerating your yard is a crucial step, forgotten by most. Martin Mowing uses motorized aerators to efficiently pull plugs up from your lawn. Why? For one, it helps to prevent dry spots and diseases. More importantly, it helps to allow water to reach deep into the roots. By breaking up the soil, it allows not only water, but oxygen and nutrients to help areas under the lawn receive moisture. It is best to aerate early in the spring and later in the summer. During aeration, it may also be a good time to do a little seeding as well.

Spring/Fall Clean Ups
As beautiful as it may be, fall take a toll on your lawn. Get your lawn raked clean of ALL leaves. This includes the lawn, flower beds, mulch beds, driveways, patios and more. Let us do the hard, dirty work for you.

Tree/Bush/Shrub Trimming
Don’t want to climb a rusty, wobbly ladder to cut your neighbors tree that’s hanging over your roof? Trimming or pruning your plants and trees improves the health and growth. Not to mention, it will improve the appearance of your lawn. Small trees only*

Mulching
Don’t want to start a big project but want your mulch refreshed? Again, Martin Mowing can do that. We will remove and haul away old mulch if necessary and dress up your beds with fresh and bright mulch.

Seeding
Bare spots bringing you down? Taylor has been seeding yards for over 15+ years. Your lawn will be properly prepped to create a seed bed that will allow the seeds to germinate and start to fill in your bare spots. Sod removal and installation is also available.
